Unlike other “barnwoods” that are comprised of soft woods like pine, or manufactured using chemical and stain processes, We only use authentic oak barnwood that has been circle-sawn: a far superior choice due to not only its strength and hardness, but also because its beauty and character is naturally obtained. Our Barnwood is absolutely filled with character making every piece unique. Hand-selected by our craftspeople, the graining, saw marks, nail holes and more come together to provide furniture rich in character.

I love this piece. It's beautiful, came as expected and is well built. I did have a door that cracked after about a year, and both Wayfair and manufacturer honored the lifetime guaranty. Well done! I am still waiting for Wayfair to make good on the lifetime guarantee after 1 month & 6 calls. But they seem to have a customer service problem in dealing with it. A piece (uneven wooden bar) at base of bookshelf was broken, no instructions were given (their function was unclear, if they were supposed to be legs they would have scratched my floors, it was unfinished plywood). These were expensive and should at least include a sheet with something written in them. I Ended up taking these pieces off with a hammer. The shelves inside of the bookcases were loose inside and moving around during shipment. This scratched some areas of the wood. Hidden areas ( back of shelves and underside of unit) are unfinished. There was fine sawdust, so the whole unit has to be wiped. Other than that it's a sturdy well made unit. I wouldn't say it's solid wood, however it's a good quality plywood. This fan is beautiful. The prettiest fan I have bought in years. It even had extra longer blades than the average ceiling fan. The reason I gave it a four star and not five is because of fan speed. I was really excited it had six speeds. Unfortunately having it on the highest speed, six, it only feels like a two on a three speed ceiling fan. Just for added info I am a 64 year old lady and if you’re there you understand the sudden need for speed/fan, lol. Otherwise it is great including the dimmable light fixture.. Tamela. Katy, TX. Moreover, it's advised for use where automatic self-closing of a door is required. The knuckle hinge is adjustable, and the spring tension can be increased or decreased by using adjusting tool included. For maximum versatility use three spring hinges on required opening.
