Have used for a couple of weeks and it works just fine! Finally figured out the lock was on lower part of front door (that silver thing) rather than at bottom (inaccessible) of door (lol). We don’t have it directly in sun, as recommended. The temperature seems to fluctuate a bit and we got a bit of ice crystals in beer bottle (which just means it cools well). I researched the heck out of this purchase, and we couldn't be more pleased that we decided on this one! Delivery was quicker than promised, and the packages are very cleverly put together. We had three people for our assembly, and it went like a breeze. The most difficult part was finding the box of instructions and screws (which was at the very bottom of the LAST box we opened)! An indicator on the outside of the appropriate box - a red ribbon, or a message on the outside of the box - would solve this frustration. The clamps that hold the panels together are GENIUS, and the sauna was up and running in our pool house within hours (we unpacked in our barn, which was the staging area, and easily carried each panel as required into the pool house, some 30 yards distant). Heating took a matter of mere minutes, although we did find that the temperature fluctuates by about 5 degrees, throughout the course of a session. The quality, cedar scent, and penetrating heat are so restorative, and we even find we like the "mood" lighting, although I was dubious about this function, at first. We still haven't figured out how to use the MP3 player. The instructions are nothing short of incomprehensible, but we'll persevere (as other reviewers have). Although our sauna will predominantly be used by one or two of us at a time, the 4-person sauna was a good choice, as it allows greater ease of movement and comfort. This sauna is PERFECT in a pool house situation, as we use it the way saunas have historically been used by the Romans, indigenous people, etc. ... alternating between hot sauna and cold dips in the pool (which we swim in year-round, here in SC), but cold showers or a roll in the snow would have this same effect, in northern climes, or in the absence of a nearby pool or lake. Sauna was delivered on time and came in 3 big packages, but all wrapped together nicely. Packaging was done well to protect the packages. I had to open the packages in order to carry the individual pieces in to my basement. Set up was relatively easy, but does take two people as one person needs to hold pieces up while the other person gets the next piece. Setup took me only about 30 - 45 mins. I have the 4 person sauna so did need a dedicated 20amp outlet. Plugged all the cords in and everything worked like a charm! Control panel is easy to use and sauna works as expected! The one thing that could make it better... the control panel is inside the sauna. I wish their were a control panel on the outside as well. Then you could turn on the sauna from outside, rather than having to go inside the sauna to get it started up. Having a panel on the outside would also allow you to see what the temperature was inside while it's heating up. Definitely not affecting my use of the sauna, would just be a nice to have. This thing was easy to assemble, looks good and works well. It took about 30 minutes to reach max temperature when it was about 55° outside. The instructions are poorly translated and sometimes don't make sense but putting it together is pretty intuitive anyway. It has a strong cedar smell, which may be really nice or a little too much, depending on your preferences. We've had it for about 2 weeks and are enjoying using it. The heating panels get really hot (surprise!) so make sure to put a towel over them if they'll be coming in contact with bare skin. No regrets using this as a substitute for a conventional sauna.
