This padding makes the rug feel so great when you walk on it! It is 12 “ thick, but it makes a great difference! The one downside is that it is not slide resistant. So one needs to be careful. This pad, for my new wool rug, made a real difference in the feel of the rug. It has just the right thickness and grip. The size was a bit larger than 8x10, but that was easily taken care of with an ordinary pair of scissors. It will probably take a day or so the completely flatten out. This topper is a dream! I was a little apprehensive at first due to the reviews of it changing colors and staining. I’ve had a topper before that changed colors and never stained so I gave it a shot.
