It really cools, but with most air conditioners it cycles between cooling and just blowing air. Temperature goes down to 60, and the air is really cold when it's cycling. This came very quickly, exceptionally, packaged, and easy to install. I did not read the directions fully, and you have the option of putting two brackets on the wall and two brackets on the bottom. Cutting can be done with a skilled saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Locktite PowerGrab Ultimate adhesive or Boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel's outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.
