These vintage style door levers are constructed of diecast and come in a beautiful finish. They feature a heavy weighted casting design and unique Silencer bushings for smooth operation. This set of levers is designed for indoor use only, and it includes one 2-3/4 inch steel spindle, and one 3-5/8 inch steel spindle with 3/8 inch-20 threads. These French style levers fit 1/4 inch square drive spindle systems commonly found in antique and vintage door hardware sets, and with the two (2) provided square spindles, it can adjust to accommodate doors of different thicknesses. The lever shanks include setscrews for fastening to the square spindles. All other components of matching vintage design must be purchased separately to include the internal mortise lock body, the door rosettes, the trim and strike plates, or the latch and fasteners. Note: These levers cannot be used on pre-bored doors that have large, newer style doorknob holes without first prepping them to receive this older-style hardware. Installation tip: Because the fasteners of the rosettes (purchased separately) require a solid surface to mount to, the large 2-1/8 inch (approximate size) holes must first be filled with a hardening filler, to then be able to receive the rosette fasteners. This is a universal break-off link arm that makes it possible to adapt to whatever length link arm is needed when installing a louvre or jalousie operator. Made of cadmium plated steel, it has break-off points between holes every 1/2 in. This allows for a range from 1-13/16 in. to 5-5/16 in. in length. Any one of the lengths in between this range will be adequate for most situations.

These extended lip latch strikes are constructed of solid brass and come in a polished brass finish. They feature an adjustable tab designed to eliminate the door slop and chatter of closed doors, and they’re installed with two #8 x 1 in. fasteners included with each package. These latch strikes are used by many on wide jambs with decorative molding. It is a top quality, round, smooth polyethylene with a flexible foam core. This is also an excellent substitute for metal spline. Color is black. 500 ft. per roll.

These types of locking devices are surface-mounted and do not require any mortise pockets to be drilled into the door panel edge. All systems are keyed-alike, and spare keys are available upon special order. Keyed different are not available. These locksets are for use on interior doors only, but they cannot be mounted on doors with pre-bored holes for modern-day door knobs.
