I am not going to lie. I was leery, but my expectations were exceeded just on the packaging alone! Took me about an hour to put together, instructions were easy-ish to follow. The operation is smooth, very quiet when moving up/down. The wiring threw me off a bit, as the light controller is in the box with the desk and everything else is in the box with the frame. I am very pleased, it feels sturdy. Caution, the box with the frame is much heavier than expected, but you can tell quality went into the making. Didn't have to program the motors or calibrate them. The cup holder is a nice touch for sure! I do wish it came with a PC tower holder, but there was room on top for the desktop. I am a developer, not a gamer, but it's perfect for my setup! The price is higher than many of the others but I chose this one, because the top is a solid piece and not split like a majority of the others. I purchased this desk for a basic gamingwork setup and it does exactly what I needed it to do. Assembly was pretty straightforward and didn’t take long, even doing it solo. This is a pretty decent, small form pc desk. I probably should have got the large sized one. The packaging was perfect, no damage, and everything was there. Its a sturdy design, my only negative comment is in regard to the lower rear right side shelf. It was implied it was a shelf for your pc case to sit on. I have an old style full tower case that does not comfortably sit on this shelf without hanging over the edge. I made it work, but it needs to be like 50% larger to accommodate the newer 2 compartment style cases. Other than that, I like it. Looks good, sturdy build, no defects.
