I have a bad back so didn’t really want to use it on the floor. The controller and instructions are confusing. You basically have to just play with it until you figure out what is good for you. I tried it on a bed, the top part does slip. I am not sure if it would be better on a chair or a recliner. I plan on trying that soon. When you first lay on it (off) it is hard. You feel all the balls in it. So be sure to position it where you want the massagers. They may be to powerful for some. It’s not bad and I will try on a chair soon. So far, it worked fine. Keeping in mind, it is Italian leather… There may be variation in color other than what’s shown on the website. That being said, this recliner is the most amazing chair I have ever sat in. The Italian leather is absolutely divine and so soft and comfortable. If you’re looking for a 0° recliner, this is the one for you. I have rheumatoid arthritis and being able to recline without my body moving as a game changer. The options of heat and massage are amazing and easy to use with four different options of types of massage.
