I was very disappointed in the benches I received. They were not black nor were they poly lumber. They were wood and brown. When I contacted the company, I was given options to either keep them or return them. I was not given an amount of what it would cost to return them but I figured it would be costly because they are pretty heavy. After a conversation with a customer service representative, I agreed to keep them with a 20% discount. Then came time to put them together and that was also a disappointment. Several of the wholes were not big enough for the screw covers so it took almost 4 hours to put one together-we did not have the time nor the patience to put the other one together. The instructions were poorly written and hard to follow. Unrelated to this purchase but also a disappointment was a lamp I received from this company a week earlier that had broken wires and needed to be replaced. I love dark green Polywood bench. It was delivered right to my doorstep and my husband put it together easily. I have a beige house with white trim. The bench really adds a pop of color to my porch! Originally, I ordered the 66” unfinished but the 56” was delivered (upon measuring it we found it is really 53”-that was disappointing) . Wayfair was willing to switch it out for the 66” but also gave us an option of refunding the difference. We decided to take the refund due to having company coming and wanted the porch finished. I did a light spray paint to give it a washed paint look to match the antique metal chairs and table we have. The swing also comes with cup holders on each side that you need a smaller sized glass or cup to fit into the opening, regardless, it is a great option. It was easy to assemble and well constructed and with the chaise cushion we added gives a very comfortable to sit or lay down. I love the appearance using ropes to hang the chair. I am giving it a 4 star rather than 5 because it is not the full 56”. Other than that, it is a great price, solid construction, and looks as good as the more expensive versions.. Lorraine.
