Absolutely love this rug, it ties together the decor in my home office perfectly. The brown is a little cooler in person than in the photos, but still beautiful. I bought a rug pad for it but honestly didn’t need it, it’s quite thick and soft under foot. I wouldn’t recommend putting this rug in a high traffic area if you have pets — we have a dog and I could tell if he was running back and forth on it, the weaving would definitely be pulled up. I purchased this rug to use under a mat on my front porch. The mat is not a true black. It is a charcoal color with light gray. My mat is black and looked too dark on this rug so now will be looking for a charcoal mat. The material is very nice, arrived rolled, and layed flat immediately. It is light weight so should be anchored with furniture or a mat to keep in place. It is well made. I have just received it so we shall see if it fades as my porch gets the afternoon sun. Just wow. This rug looks exactly like the photo portrays. I wanted to know if it was soft and I can safely say it is scratchy lol it does have a sort of softness to it in the way a high quality jute rug feels. It’s not extremely thick like I thought it would be, but it’s definitely thicker than a non-wool rug and it is very heavy. I bought two of these rugs after looking for some time. I have used them on my covered porch for two spring /summer seasons. I am very happy with the durability and it is lovely. Would definitely order again and again. The colour is neutral and gives a "jute rug" vibe however the rug is soft (flat pile). I have not experienced any issues with the threads or staining. It has been wet and dries fairly quickly. Not certain I would install in areas that are not protected as it is not on the cheaper side and would be concerned the elements may damage it.
