I love this tower! Moved laundry to the first floor from the basement in a 100yo home. They nicely fit into a closet and are quiet and very efficient. Only 2 tbs of detergent needed, if you use too much you’ll get a notification for the app. Oh that’s great too, the app also alerts you when the washer and dryer are done or if there are any problems. Make sure they are properly installed, the dryer needs to have drainage. The guy who installed mine hadn’t installed an electric heat pump dryer yet and didn’t realize which led to a build up of water in the washer pan and the clothes would be damp. Wow! I’ve been dying to see these walls for about 5 weeks. They were delivered right after Thanksgiving for our bathroom remodel, and they took up a LOT of garage space since then. The packaging was larger than the 5x8 ft wall size by at least 6” in every direction. There was some damage to the cardboard one one edge, but there was no damage to the product. Unfortunately the delivery drivers placed the package upside down, so I couldn’t even glance at the marble effect. I was afraid to try to flip it to look at it. I was worried that it might look tacky, the way some “marble” products have busy pattern repeats or weird colors (like the “marble” shower base we returned that was “marbled” with purple and brown streaks.). But I did not need to worry! These wall panels are fantastic! The marble effect is very subtle and natural looking. We made sure we had room to store them flat until our contractor could install them, which finally happened today! They have a matte, lightly textured feel that is similar to tile, but no grout lines to scrub!. The crew commented many times how luxe it all looks. My contractor will caulk it on Friday when he installs the new toilet and vanity, and then we can try it out on Sunday! I looked at every possible wall material before settling on these. I've had this unit for a year now and can attest to its reliability and performance. My condo has a small laundry closet and this is the only front-loading LG model that would fit. It is quiet and most of my laundry comes out clean and ready for the dryer. I find that the dryer actually works comparably to a vented dryer and it is easier on my clothes. My condo association discourages ventless dryers because of its prior experiences with water damage from leaks into other units which are not as much of an issue with the newer ventless technology. I love that I don't have to worry about pulling the unit out of the closet to periodically clean the dryer vent. My only issue is that sometimes laundry will come out with dry streaks indicating that the wash cycle was somehow not fully soaked the garments, even when stacked in the drum according to the manual. It has a large capacity. I was worried that it wouldn’t hold as much as my prior front loaders, LG mega capacity. I was happily mistaken. And the footprint is smaller! This set holds everything I washed before and it’s more efficient. Washes & dries quickly, without damaging on the AI cycles. I love all the preset options and the auto soap and softener dispensers. This dryer is awesome. It seems like it takes longer than a normal dryer, but it really doesn't. We don't have to run it 3 times to dry towels. It can fit a lot of towels. It can dry our king size comforter with ease. It uses about 1/4 the power of our old normal dryer. It also is really good at removing pet hair from clothes.
