I have a GIANT headboard and with my mattress and boxspring the outlet behind my bed is really hard to get to. I don't recommend this item. It doesn't detect motion until you are right next to it. It lights up whether it is daytime or nighttime, so it is not a night light. It also sometimes goes off randomly.
