I have a small space in my small apartment to fit a small washer dryer. I’m handicapped so I have to be very careful what I choose but this over the washer shelf is perfect to put my small dryer on that weighs about 65 pounds empty. My only complaint is the instructions putting this together is so confusing! I have some carpentry skills and have been putting furniture together for years. I’ve never seen anything like that. The majority of instructions is just how to mount the rack to the top of the unit and then like one picture to finish it. It’s so confusing! They need someone to edit that and translate it better. My friend and I were ready to pull our hair out, but we got it put together and I love it. It serves its purpose. just so everyone knows the rack does not slide in all the way in it does protrude from the front so you did not put it together wrong. I hope that helps a little bit.. Would work better with washer dryer that sits on floor and not one that has a pedestal. Tabs for shelf support tend to slip down when installing shelves. Had to try and hold tab and use a rubber mallet to tap shelf into place on the tabs. With a pedestal under washer, it does not leave proper room for the hanging clothes bar. It also does not take into consideration if washer dryer is already in place. You will have to move the washer dryer out of the way to build it and put it where you want then put washer dryer in place. Since I could not move my washer w/pedestal, I had to try and build the unit around the washer while it was in place. Unit seems flimsy because of no self support across the lower area where washer dryer is. What a fantastic solution for small spaces in the laundry area! This countertop with a storage shelf fits well on top of my LG washer. Here I share a few thoughts: -It was easy to assemble. I ended up GENTLY using my drill, and it went very fast. -It is not truly white. There is almost a yellow hue to it? It's very subtle, but when placed next to something truly white, you can notice it. -The screws that hold the parts together are not designed to go all the way in. So, I have all these screw heads sticking out about a 1/8" on all sides but the top. There are little plastic hole plugs that go in them, but the ones that stick out give the countertop a studded look. -Adding to my previous bullet, there are two screws on the bottom that stick out. Now, they did provide "no-slip" grips to put on the bottom, which raised it up high enough not to hit the top of the washing machine; however, if you don't use the grips, you are out of luck. Purchased two since my appliances are not side by side. They were easy to assemble - I put them both together in under an hour and I'm not the handiest. Directions were very clear and essential tools were surprisingly included. They look really nice and spruce up/organize my laundry area. Did not stain when my detergent dripped on it - I cleaned it up quickly. Also, they don't fit flush onto my machines as they show in the photo, but to be fair my washer/dryer are frontloading but are not newer models. This is not a dealbreaker and I'm sure if I had measured and checked the specs I would have known ahead of time. The drawers are fabric but also sturdy so not an issue for me.
