This rug looks way better than in the original photo. The colors are great. It is a thin rug but it seems to stay in place well, I don't think I'll need a rug pad. Since it came folded, I am a bit concerned that the creases won't even out and leave streaks of bare parts plus puckers. But I think after some wear--and definitely after its first washing--it should all even out. The texture is nice and the neutral color helps to fit in instead of sticking out since the backdoor leads right into the kitchen. The 3 x 5 size is perfect for an entrance since it allows two people to stand on it to take off snowy boots instead of typical sized mats which makes one person end up tracking on the floor.. Mary.
