I love this desk! To simplify our golden years we purchased a 2100 sf home. For the office I ordered this desk in Brown (47.23” width) and it fits perfectly. It is well made, the trim and color variation are lovely. Very simple to assemble for two people by attaching the legs to desk. Everything was securely wrapped and padded when boxed for shipment. I no longer need a deep file drawer, as I don’t keep tons of files these days. (I use a portable file box tote that is easily accessible and ready to transport during an emergency). The gray finish is beautiful in person — a soft weathered tone that works with almost any wall color or flooring. The turned legs and black hardware give it a custom furniture-store feel. Multiple people have already asked where we bought it because it looks far more expensive than the price tag. The drawers are deep, smooth, and surprisingly spacious. It easily handled clothing that used to be split between two smaller dressers. No sticking, wobbling, or flimsy drawer bottoms either — which is rare these days unless you’re spending serious money. Another thing I appreciate is the overall proportions. At 60 inches wide, it makes a statement without overpowering the room.
