This is a great rug but it is rolled the wrong way in the wrapper so it doesn’t lie flat when you unroll it. The edges flip up. I was able to get this on sale for around $105, which I think is a great value. At the current ~$200 price point, I personally wouldn’t repurchase. The rug itself is very pretty — the colors are vibrant and give that vintage, high-end look. It’s a printed, low-pile rug, so don’t expect it to be soft or plush underfoot. It lays fairly flat, but you’ll definitely want a rug pad or some heavier furniture on it to keep it from sliding around. We're considering adding a pad underneath for extra comfort when sitting on the floor and for added noise absorption in our media room — but that's purely a bonus, not a necessity. I can’t believe I got this rug for the price I did! I originally ordered a smaller one for my bedroom and when I took it out of the box I laid it out in the living room room, and the colors looked so good I had to order the bigger one for my living room! I originally had a white rug in here, but was so tired of everything being white white white. Love the warmth of this one! It isn’t super soft, but that is what I wanted and is as expected based on description. I have two young boys and two animals so I do not need anything that will hold onto dirt very easily.
