I bought this item a week ago and I'm looking to return it as soon as possible. This blender will not blend anything more solid than a banana. And it's probably going to get stuck blending that. No he probado aún la cocción de cereales si lo que puedo decir es q el agua de los alimentos que se vaporizan caen al contenedor donde se cocina los cereales en el caso de arroz y pasta tal vez peguen con los jugos de las verduras y proteínas de arriba pero en el caso de la avena convendría tener arriba alguna fruta y no un pollo o carne. Recomendaría más la versión XL sobre la normal pq la diferencia de precios no es mucha y se cocina más. I took a long time to do this review because I wanted to actually make baby food in it for my grandson, and he just started solids! The steamer works great, cooked perfectly. I had my butternut squash in one inch cubes before I read the instructions, so I had to cut them down to 1cm per instructions. That was a bummer. I almost took a star away for that, but the blending was so smooth and effortless that I actually love this little thing and give it 5 stars. Can’t wait to make more food for my grandson. As mentioned by another reviewer, there are not bottle warning instructions. I would put the bottle in the steamer basket and check it after a few minutes. Just what I needed at an amazing price. I had to find a small model that could do both because I lack counter and cabinet space. I use this daily and it sits on my counter. The food processor fits quite a bit of food (4 cups)and also come with a shredder/slicer which is a bonus. The blender is full size. My first Cuisinart was a wedding gift and lasted over 25 years.
