I bought two of these rugs after looking for some time. I have used them on my covered porch for two spring /summer seasons. I am very happy with the durability and it is lovely. Would definitely order again and again. The colour is neutral and gives a "jute rug" vibe however the rug is soft (flat pile). I have not experienced any issues with the threads or staining. It has been wet and dries fairly quickly. Not certain I would install in areas that are not protected as it is not on the cheaper side and would be concerned the elements may damage it. This is a very soft area rug! I got a pad for underneath it but you probably wouldn’t need one. The cats LOVE it. I purchased this rug to use under a mat on my front porch. The mat is not a true black. It is a charcoal color with light gray. My mat is black and looked too dark on this rug so now will be looking for a charcoal mat. The material is very nice, arrived rolled, and layed flat immediately. It is light weight so should be anchored with furniture or a mat to keep in place. It is well made. I have just received it so we shall see if it fades as my porch gets the afternoon sun. I was able to get this on sale for around $105, which I think is a great value. At the current ~$200 price point, I personally wouldn’t repurchase. The rug itself is very pretty — the colors are vibrant and give that vintage, high-end look. It’s a printed, low-pile rug, so don’t expect it to be soft or plush underfoot. It lays fairly flat, but you’ll definitely want a rug pad or some heavier furniture on it to keep it from sliding around. This rug is soft and low pile. It was packaged really well and did lay flat after only one day. I have this rug in my kids room, and I have had to vacuum it a lot, and it has held up well.
