I love my new rug! I did not expect to love it as much as I do. Less than a year ago I bought a stunning pink and white wool rug from Wayfair and was so happy with it. On the first day my cat ruined it. She was attracted to the wool texture and clawed the rug to pieces. I couldn't live with it, it ruined my newly decorated living room and after months of looking on Wayfair I found this rug. It had the pink tones I wanted and my cat is leaving it alone. I looked for all polyester this time. I would prefer wool but it isn’t possible with my cat. This rug is gorgeous. But be aware- it is not the dark pink tones in the center medallion that is in the picture of it on the Wayfair site. It is pale pink tones, not dark pink. I needed something thin that would still allow my office chair to roll over it freely, and this fir the bill. I like the nice subtle design. It really balances out the darkness of my wood paneled room with the more contemporary light colored and metal furniture. It really ties the room together. It also cleans up easily - no issues with any of my vacuums. Though it is somewhat thin, it's still heavy enough to stay put when vacuuming. I deducted one star because I noticed after about a year or so, the rug started losing its shape ever so slightly in the area where my chair rolls around. Like it was bubbling/warping a bit. At first it seemed more bold of a pattern because of all the black in it but I rotated the rug because there was less black on the other side of it and that worked much better.
