It wears really well and it’s very difficult to scratch it. I have a dog and a cat and I’ve never seen a scratch on it. I’ve had it in for about a year now. It was pretty easy to install and I get compliments all the time and people can’t believe that it’s engineered flooring. Great kit! Precise cuts, quality hardware and clear, well thought out instructions. The stain appeared to be somewhat thin so I stained every piece prior to assembly, 3 coats. Used Sherwin Williams exterior wood stain. Built on 4" thick concrete that we also stained. Drilled out the supplied post mounting brackets to 1/2" I.D. and used Tapcon 1/2" x 4" masonry anchors, 4 per post to secure structure to slab. We are very satisfied with the finished product..
