I would give 5* for this product as I love the look and feel and it works great, but it arrived with a missing screw. Wayfair was very understanding and offered us a partial refund or store credit. This faucet lifts to control the volume (water flow) and turns left and right to control the temperature. Many shower faucets only allow temperature control so if you want flow control as well, this is the one for you. This product is the trim only, i.e. the part that you see and use every time you shower. It does not include the valve (piece that goes inside the wall). You have to buy the valve separately which costs around 60-70 depending on where you get it from. Make sure you get the correct valve. It must be a Moen valve but not all Moen valves will work. For this faucet you need a M-core 3 series valve with 3 ports (if not connected to a bath) or 4 ports (if connected to both a shower and a bath). You also want to make sure you select a valve with the right connection type (PEX vs CCIPS). Your plumber should be able to help you select the right valve but Wayfair should add this information on the product’s description page. We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was. This is a beautiful hood, at a great price. Wayfair customer service went above and beyond to replace the original “lost” shipment when the first transportation company claimed the hood was delivered and signed for. The documentation proved that to be impossible based on the date it left the warehouse.
