I finally broke down and invested in a better vacuum. This thing is amazing! Mostly hard flooring and its highest setting picks up everything- doesn’t blow it around. Lower settings handle even my flat washable rugs and don’t suck them up. The real test? I accidentally sucked up a metal door stopper that had broken and I immediately stopped the machine and took it apart to find the piece. Found it…in the bag. It heats up evenly and food sticks less to it than my other stainless steel pans so I prefer to use it over those. The picture is after four rounds of smaller pancakes made in the pan with only one application of olive oil, whereas my other pans I had to keep adding oil or butter or it’s definitely going to stick. The handle is attached only on the outside and after having this option, I don’t know why all pans don’t do this.
