This tile is beautiful, with a nice sheen and enough irregularity to catch the light and make it look expensive. However, 2/3 of the boxes I ordered came with broken tiles. I think broken tiles are more likely with this format because the grooves create weaknesses in the 14x14 sheets. Besides the breakage, the tile was easy to work with and regular enough that all the groves lined up without too much effort. I used it for my kitchen backsplash and am really pleased with the look. Beautiful, thick tile. Based on how it was delivered I was fearful it would be broken, but it was packed great. This tile is great but the gris gray dye lot we got had a strong blue / purple undertone compared to the original sample piece.
