These chairs are great! They fit into my small space very well and they are very well-made. They were easy to put together. The only suggestion I have is that you pay attention to the details in the pictures of how some of the parts need to fit together because if you mix up the parts placement that look similar, things will not fit together. Many times with directions you can just look at the parts if there are few parts and think you can quickly put them together and this is not that case with the chairs. Emphasizing the thick cushioned seat is a bit misleading. The seat does look like it’s 6” thick, but important to note that its hollow underneath - the actual padding on the seat is no more than 1.5 to 2 inches. Not terribly comfortable, but it looks nice and fits our space just fine. It went together fairly easily by my husband who is quite handy - I would not have been able to do it myself as there were MANY parts to deal with. I've been looking for a simple, open chair for a long time on my sites. This one went on sale so I thought I would try it. The wood is matte finish and a good tone so that was a plus. The color is very neutral. Not white. Not beige. Oatmeal would be closest. Very well constructed with good instructions and hardware. Be aware that it is very firm and will not hit everyone the same in the back. Not a chair to sit in for a long time with a book or lengthy conversation.
