I received the address plaque today, and I want to make a suggestion. It appears that the plaque was placed in its plastic packaging fairly soon after painting. As you can see on the picture, some of the black paint stuck to the plastic, so I'll need to touch up the paint before I hang the plaque on the house. I for one would not have had a problem with waiting another day or two for the plaque if it meant the paint had enough time to dry. The numbers are also about 1/8 inch shorter than 4 inches. This may be a problem in some areas where a four-inch height is required and the inspector measures them. To be on the safe side, the numbers should be made 4-1/8 inches tall. I would still choose this product, because the price was very competitive for a custom address plaque, and I don't have any issues with the quality of the metalwork.. Daniel. Springfield, VA. Needed an in lawn address sign after the town cut down the tree that previously had the house number on it. This exceeded my expectations! Fairly heavy, it seems very good quality. I was pleased with the quality of the product with the exception of the painting. It was a little sloppy but not unacceptable. I bought two, and I did have the white paint on the bottom outline of one of them to flake off revealing black paint. My only other comment is that it took about three weeks for the item to ship.. Took about three weeks to receive. It’s nice and heavy, but the silver paint is a bit sloppy and doesn’t cover the edges which I wasn’t expecting. I’ll probably have to buy some appropriate paint and paint the outer edge myself later, but am happy with it overall and am excited to hang it!
