This life-size cardboard standup is exactly the size and proportion our decorating committee wanted. It is going to be the centerpiece of our upcoming fundraiser "A Day At The Races." Unfortunately I misread the description. I thought this was going to be 2-sided, but it's not, it's only 1-sided. So we purchased a 2nd one and will put them back-to-back. The other thing that didn't quite suit our needs is that it's flat, no pizzaz. Don't get me wrong, the trophy is exactly as pictured and a great piece. The legend of Chris-Craft began in 1884, when Christopher Columbus Smith began the Smith Boat House on the St Clair River in Algonac, Michigan, to manufacture small duck boats and power launches. Later, the company was extended to Chris Smith and Sons Boat Co. Many of his larger runabouts were used as taxis; transporting guests on the riverfront to resorts, or to various sightseeing attractions. In the 1920s, mostly runabouts were produced, but with the introduction of his speed boats, Chris Smith's fame took off.

Tremendous sale/Chris Craft Triple Cockpit Model Boat. Hand made by Old Modern Handicrafts. I purchased the 32" Triple C as a gift that I shall always regret giving. To say this boat is beautifully made ia an understatement . Remarkable craftsmanship and attention to detain. My recipient is a boat owner and was flabbergasted by the shear awesomeness of this model. The boat came packed beautifully and fully assembled in a long box with inner wood frame to protect the model. The only assembly required is attaching boat to stand. Magnificent in all respects.
