I bought two of these for a pop-up trundle bed for guest use since it claimed to join into a king size bed. That is a different story. These mattress came vacuum-sealed and expanded to almost full size by the time I got the plastic off. The topper is nice material and can be zipped off for easy cleaning. I gave the mattresses about two days to fully expand and was surprised at how firm they are. Most "firm" mattresses are not very firm; however, I weigh just under 200lbs and I sunk in about a half-inch. It is a soft kind of firm, not a hard, cheap couch kind of firm. My wife laid on the top one and she was equally, pleasantly surprised. That says a lot, coming from her, as she has a bad hip and is very particular when it comes to mattresses. While I don’t think this would be a great mattress for daily use, this was a good mattress for the trundle portion of my kid’s bed. It is slim (in a month, it only expanded to about 5.5”), and it’s quite firm as it obviously doesn’t have room for all the support/comfort layers that a regular width mattress can have. But it fits very well in a trundle bed (even with bedding), is more comfortable than I expected it to be, and is more than fine for occasional use.
