The only reason this isn't a 5-star door is because of the etching inside each window. The manufacturer date and other non-sensical writing is etched on the INSIDE of every window pane. You cannot scrape it off. To say we were disappointed they would ruin this beautiful door with letters etched into every window, is an understatement. To take the door back out and return would be an insane amount of work so we are going to live with it. But it's a beautiful door, came in pristine condition, minus the stupid etching.. Shea. All of the steel doors are galvanized to resist rust and corrosion, are comprised of 24-gauge, high-quality steel with 22 gauge steel stiles and rails for additional strength and security. These steel doors come with a one-piece, high-density polystyrene core delivering excellent insulation allowing it to meet or exceed current energy code standards. Each door comes with a 10-year warranty on the door component, a limited lifetime warranty on the prehung unit as well as a 10-year glass lite warranty and 10-year warranty on the painted finish of the pre-hung door component.
