Amazing...I grappled with buying these columns for 2 years, because of the non-refundable policy, so I had to be sure. I have a small porch so I knew I couldnt get the columns to wide or the proportions would look odd. So I used makeshift cardboard and the like to determine what to buy...I made the best decision with the 5.63 width columns they look amazing. My contractor bought 5 wood post from our local big box store and used brackets to install them on the porch. He used his nail gun to fasten each wrap to the wood post, he said it was rather simple to install. Next he caulked all the small nail gun holes and painted ( per instructions for winter protection) looks amazing. I was initially disappointed when assembling because some of the boards were cut short and I can see tiny gaps in the wood but it is a heavy door that was a bit of a project. The handle is great and on the other side of the handle there is an intention so you can push the door from the other side. We did not install the lock latch but it is a very solid piece. This is a great rug but it is rolled the wrong way in the wrapper so it doesn’t lie flat when you unroll it. The edges flip up.
