In my photo you can see the 4 inch box spring that I chose for my queen bed. I'm so glad I didn't go with the 2-in nor the 6-in, this one falls right in the middle and is just right for me. I wanted something that I did not have to assemble, this is perfect comes pre-assembled, hooray! I also didn't want a metal box spring because metal attracts EMFs, and although at an extremely low amount I still am not a comfortable with metal box springs. My partner and I have been using this split frame for a few months now and we love it. This is our first hollow box spring after living with an old coil box spring for so long. Though there are definitely differences, we sleep just as well on it. For reference, the two of us on our queen double pillow top mattress with four additional mattress tops are roughly 650lbs all together. This split frame easily holds all of the combined weight. This is a wonderful mattress at a great price and delivery. The mattress is exactly as shown on the website. It is firm without being hard. Having waking up with back pain for the last year with my old memory foam mattress this was a gift to my back. Slept incredibly, zero backspin when I woke up. I am a hot sleeper and this mattress did not get warm under me. You are supposed to wait 48-72 hours for full expansion, but this mattress was 95+ expanded after 6 hours. I couldn't wait, it was great. I'm sure it will only feel better with that other 5% expansion. Unlike other foam mattresses I purchased in the past this one barely had any smell to it. I sleep with my window open most of the time and with a fan on all the time so maybe that had something to do with it, but this morning, no smell. So great mattress, great price, highly recommended..
