This is a great rug but it is rolled the wrong way in the wrapper so it doesn’t lie flat when you unroll it. The edges flip up. I can’t believe I got this rug for the price I did! I originally ordered a smaller one for my bedroom and when I took it out of the box I laid it out in the living room room, and the colors looked so good I had to order the bigger one for my living room! I originally had a white rug in here, but was so tired of everything being white white white. Love the warmth of this one! It isn’t super soft, but that is what I wanted and is as expected based on description. I have two young boys and two animals so I do not need anything that will hold onto dirt very easily. I bought this rug two years ago in a 5x7 and have wanted it in a bigger size for an adjacent room for a long time. I finally found it at a great price here on wayfair. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. It rolled out flat immediately and has no smell. I’m not experiencing any shedding. It’s soft under my feet and the color variations and texture are just gorgeous. It will match any neutral decor. I don’t have a rug pad under it. It’s a nice rug but if you have pets that like to stretch out and flex their feet, be warned that this rug pulls easily. So I ended up returning this item but I give it 5 stars anyways because the problem was that it didn't match my existing furniture, not that there was anything wrong with it. I would buy this rug again in a heartbeat. it was very inexpensive and I was very impressed with the quality when it arrived. to be honest I bought it specifically because it was cheap, flat and dark and I felt it would hide dirt well at the entrance to our home.
