I ordered this lantern light string in the pink color, and used them for a patio party. They worked great. I was able to attach them to our wysteria vine using clothespins, to drape them across our garage, on the patio side. The on-off switch was perfect, and I just had to turn on the switch, once it was dark. They provided extra lighting, as well as a festive atmosphere, and looked very cute hanging above our garage door, in the vine. Paired them with other solar-powered lights both on the ground, as well as fairy string lights in our bushes. The bright pink added a great touch of color. I definitely would recommend these - they are fun and add a creative touch to your decorating. The lantern size globe is nice in the large size. The cord on these outdoor lights is very heavy duty. There are holes right above each well protected bulb in order to tie off or screw each light into the exact position you want.
