Only used one time so far I think overall it will be great you must hold the the pilot light down for 5 or 6 minutes, at least to get it to light up. For me, the installation was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The unit I have is propane. Time will tell, but overall, I think its going to be great for heating up my small cabin. We had our contractor install two of these heaters with the covered patio extension we built last spring. I LOVE this electric faux fireplace. Im still working on my tile surround, but the 24 gray fireplace fits perfectly. Ill have to build something to hide the cord as I finish the faux mantlesurround.
