The tile is made from a hardboard and is mounted to a metal rectangle. The hooks hang down from the metal plate in the back and are about 2.5 in. from the base. A hanger is attached to the metal plate and is about 1.5 in. long. Lots of room to hang up using a screw or paneling nail. Great for the home or office to hold keys leashes or just about anything.

When I opened the box I was impressed with this tile. The green color is gorgeous and the tile is iridescent. The light shines off the tiles beautifully, reminds me of the ocean and Carribean. In the dark spots the color looks darker but still nice. The different greens blend in so nicely.
