so far it is keeping cold. the freezer space is cut down with the extra ice maker,if i leave it off and use the extra room, i am in fear that the ice may not start working again. i really like it,but it might not start working if it is left off to long. so i have been informed by LG. As it turned out- evrything went well, even when I needed to change the delivery and installation date. Also, I researched and learned that I got a better price ordering directly from LG. Overall, very good refridgerator with only a minor insignificant flaw. That is the upper tray in the freezer does not stay in and always comes out half way such that it interferes with the bottom tray and one cannot load or remove items easily. I'm so disappointed in these Lincove inserts. I purchased several in two separate sizes. Every single day more of the little spikey down feathers punch through the pillow covers. Plus, as you can see in photos the feathers get on everything that comes into contact with sofas. These are very expensive inserts and for the description stating "We ensure a true masterpiece" I felt they would be worth the cost but unfortunately, that has not been the experience I've had..
