I bought two of these rugs after looking for some time. I have used them on my covered porch for two spring /summer seasons. I am very happy with the durability and it is lovely. Would definitely order again and again. The colour is neutral and gives a "jute rug" vibe however the rug is soft (flat pile). I have not experienced any issues with the threads or staining. It has been wet and dries fairly quickly. Not certain I would install in areas that are not protected as it is not on the cheaper side and would be concerned the elements may damage it. My only issue is that it doesn't come in a more sizing options. We need something closer to 10x14 not really smaller than that... 9'6 x 13'1 is not ideal unfortunately for our space. We have gray cloud paint color by Benjamin Moore on our walls and it goes perfectly with that color along with our wood floors. Initially I would have thought that I needed a thicker rug pad but the rug is very comfortable to walk on and I'm just going to probably end up getting a thinner felted rug pad for added comfort and sound dampening. The pattern is really perfect and for someone who is trying to stay away from the Oriental traditional vibe. This is great and it's not too precious because God forbid we live our life and spill a cup of coffee on the carpet. I don't think it's going to ruin the entire thing because it definitely has that abstract pattern that I think will hide a lot. I just wish they had expanded sizes! I'm obsessed and will probably end up buying a larger size and have a carpet specialist help me make a few adjustments by cutting two of the sides and adding binding on one and fringe on the other because I love it so much and really want to use it in my space but it needs to match my vision and fit the room exactly as I'm seeing it in my mind. This means it will have to be a Frankenstein style because the fringe won't match on each end and then the binding on one side will be different too. This pad, for my new wool rug, made a real difference in the feel of the rug. It has just the right thickness and grip. The size was a bit larger than 8x10, but that was easily taken care of with an ordinary pair of scissors. It will probably take a day or so the completely flatten out. Amazingly soft and beautiful rug! I did a deep dive on the rug and color before choosing to purchase it for my bedroom. The reviews and images definitely helped. The images, like mine skew a bit darker but when I opened the package, it is beautiful hued brown. The images pick up the darker lights but trust me, it’s a lovely brown-beige hued rug. I tired to show the high and low beige highlights as best that I could. And did I say how wonderfully soft it is! This rug was all that I need to confirm getting another one for living room.. Pamela.
