In love with this pillow. Purchased several in the “down” option and they’re absolutely perfect. Leather strap is a color somewhere in between a nutmeg and cognac. It matches perfectly with our other leather pillows in those tones. The fabric on the front of the pillow is a very light creamy beige/taupe, it has a tiny, soft pebbly textured feel, the back is more like a very thick linen. The snaffle bits are a nice touch, they’re a matte brushed gold with hints of weathered bronze. Would highly recommend ordering the down option over the poly. This rug is very high quality! It lays extremely flat right away. The pad I bought for under it isnt settled yet so you see those folds underneath.... but that will subside. This is a very nice looking rug. I got one to go under my dining table and one to Go under my coffee table, both are in the same open concept room. I needed something that was fairly neutral since I have a lot going on in this particular area, and this rug is perfect. I have two cats and so far so good but they haven’t gone in for any real deep scratching yet so fingers crossed this rug can hold up. Its a pretty nice rug, it shipped rolled with a cardboard tube and end caps, wrapped in thick plastic, so there were no stains and it flattened out nicely. There was a chemical smell after unrolling it, but we let it air out for a few days with the ceiling fan on and it lessened over time, I could vaguely notice it after a few days if I went out. After 2 weeks, no smell at all even if you get ground level and sniffed. Its fairly soft and decently thick for a low knap rug. It does benefit from a rug pad, as all thinner rugs do, for extra cush underfoot, but I think its okay without one. Got the 9x12, pretty good price for the size as there arent as many options when you go bigger than 8x10. This is replacing an 8x10 in the living room, as that was a bit too small to properly tie everything together. After a year, it's held up well to toddler play, cats and vacuuming.. Kevin.
