Essentials 3-Drawer Vertical Filing Cabinet is part of Lorell Essentials Series Laminate Furniture with high-quality, walnut laminate construction. Pedestal offers a box/box/file design to store office supplies and important files. The file drawer includes handrails and holds letter-size and legal-size hanging files. The design also includes metal drawer pulls with a silver brush finish and PVC edges. Pedestal attaches to the underside of the top of an Essentials Series desk, credenza, or return with the included fasteners and extends to the floor.

This draw system is great and is absolutely recommended. It's actually dimensions are 28”H x 15.5"W x 22” D and fits perfectly under the desk. The 31.5'' H x 24'' W x 18.1'' D is the box dimensions. The wood finish is very nice. The size is what I needed for my purpose. However, the drawer did not open until I manually pushed down on the locking pin from above. When the drawer was closed, it locked itself. I have never seen such a primitively designed locking system. If it is important to have a working lock, don't buy this. I contacted "customer service" for help. She could not help, but arranged for a tech support person to call me. Two days later: crickets!
