These were not hard to install, I watched a video. I really recommend a video, it makes the directions make sense. Getting it level is the hard part. Drilling the screws in was probably the harder part. The shades came the exact size I measured, kudos to the person who cuts them to size. This is extremely easy to put up with the included hardware and can be installed inside the window or on the outside of the window frame which is really nice. I love that this is cordless.
