For the price, it is perfect for my needs. The assembly was challenging due to the number of pieces that hold it together. The directions had pictures, but some narrative would be helpful. I am no youngster and not the strongest, but I put it together by myself and with rest stops subtracted from the equation, I was able to get it together in about 5 hours. Again, for the price, it was fine. I had ordered Wayfair assembly but due to some hiccups in shipping I could not get that part coordinated. I researched many different floor brands (big box stores and online) and got tons of samples. My local flooring store gave me some really big samples to take home for a few days to view in various lighting. I was stuck between the Mannington nougat and praline. It's a good ping pong paddle for intermediate players. I used the Stiga Evolution for 8 years prior to buying this paddle. This paddle provides more speed and good control. I only played with it for a few hours, but the Evolution has more spin and more "feel" when hitting the ball. It all depends on your style of play and skill level, and preference.
