My first worry was will it arrive in one piece. The packaging of the sink was thick foam, fully cushioning it, protecting from bumps and knocks which occur in the normal delivery process. Fits perfectly in the space, no problems occurred in the install. Purchased an older home, gutted the kitchen, thought I’d save some money on an apron front, double sink. The double sink was lighter in weight constructed of thinner material. Had it for 2 years when it was damaged when a 3 qt cast iron Dutch oven pot bumped the bottom of the sink creating a hole. My handiman, said it should have chipped but not have caused a hole in it. The cost of the old one was roughly 250, you get what you pay for. The new sink has been cast from a heavier thicker material. First impression is ‘that sink is HUGE!’ It is 37” across, hard to find a drop in of this size. This is a 33" workstation farmhouse fireclay sink. The included accessories feature a bottom grid, cutting board, and drain. The cutting board handily fits on the interior ledge of the sink to make preparation tasks more efficient and clear your counter of clutter. Features an offset drain creating more space below in the base cabinet. The included grid elevates dishware to help water get to the drain and prevent dropped pots from cracking or chipping the sink. The sides of the sink have a slight taper from top to bottom and the basin is sloped for good drainage. Fireclay's glazed surface inhibits bacterial growth more than stainless steel and is eco-friendly requiring fewer cleansers. Classic glossy white glazed finish. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary up to 0.25". Apron-style base cabinet is required to support this sink. A note about fireclay: small cracks will appear on the unglazed underside of the sink, these are cosmetic only and have no impact on the performance of the sink.

Just because it’s easy doesn’t make a job well done any less special. The drop-in Jackson Fireclay kitchen sink offers an easy DIY installation with high-end beauty. But it also offers function: the large single bowl ensures maximum workspace for cleaning bulky or oversized dishes. Our ultra-durable and dense fireclay is fired up to 2100°F and protected with our proprietary finish that safeguards and adds strength.

An attractive sink at a good price. This is a fireclay sink, which means it is fired at a lower temperature than a porcelain sink, but at a higher temperature than a ceramic sink. Higher temps increase hardness and durability. This becomes apparent as this sink will stain if left soiled overnight, unlike a porcelain sink which you can rinse and wipe clean. It is not a big deal as it does come clean with some bleach cleaner and a sponge. I am happy overall. Note: I bought a sturdy stainless steel sink grid, not included, to protect the bottom from nicks and scratches (~$50), which I recommend. Can be used as a trivet or a cooling rack as well.. Nantucket Sinks' WFCC36FCWSW is a 36" wide workstation farmhouse apron fireclay sink. The included accessories feature a bottom grid, cutting board, and basket strainer drain. The cutting board handily fits on the internal ledge of the sink to keep your counters clear! Features a side drain creating more unobstructed space below in the base cabinet. The included grid helps water flow to the drain and prevents accidental chipping of the sink from dropped dishware. The sides of the sink have a slight taper from top to bottom and the basin is sloped for good drainage and glazed smooth in a glossy white classic finish. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to 0.25". Apron-style base cabinet is required to support this sink. A note about fireclay: Small cracks will appear on the unglazed underside of the sink, these are cosmetic only and have no impact on the performance of the sink.

This fireclay sink has two basins in a 90/10 ratio to help you easily organize your workflow how you like. The sink is reversibly glazed on all sides so you may choose to have the small bowl on the left or right side. All the rage because of its personality and function. It combines ease of use and durability. Finished in a glossy bright white glaze. All dimensions for fireclay sinks are nominal due to shrinking during the firing process. For this reason, we recommend waiting to receive your actual sink before purchasing a cabinet or making cuts to countertops. Dimensions will vary by up to .25 inches.
