As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. My carpenter husband was definitely skeptical and was anticipating a flimsy product and a problematic install. He was wrong. This frame came extremely well packaged and is a well built, solid frame.
