This is an excellent item in my opinion. It is very clear, bright distortion-free glass nicely beveled. The body is a black plastic and not flimsy quite substantial, pre-drilled with adjustable shelves that click into place and thus "stay" unless intentionally removed. The shelves also have a little outside lip which will keep items itself from accidentally falling off. The piano hinge works smoothly and the magnet holds the cover tightly closed. I love these sinks! I was looking for square sinks for our modern style home, but didn't want to deal with puddling water in the corners. This sink looks very sleek and modern without sacrificing function. The only issue I had was with packaging. The sinks were shipped in a box without padding. I ordered 4 and 3 came broken.
