My two kitties love their new space! We have two 9 months old kitties that we rescued when they were 3 12 weeks old. They are indoor cats but we wanted to give them a safe sanctuary when are not home. I put the structure together myself and it probably would have gone quicker if I had help but I took my time and the instructions were easy enough to follow. The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. I've been looking at this model for about 4 months. I found the best price on Wayfair. I decided to go for the highest height for my maltipoo to see out of my sliding doors and over the balcony. Shes not comfortable coming down the steps yet but has walked away from me when I tried to take her down letting me know she enjoys it. I put her regular bed underneath, and plenty of room to throw her toys under the steps. Sturdy but not too heavy for me to carry up 5 flights up steps to my apartment.
