I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. This has worked well for us. Way to out together and produces a great compost. One thing to note is that the compost can rest on the bottom ledge inside which can make it difficult to open the doors. The recessed gas plug is a convenient outlet for natural gas or propane that can be hooked up directly to your house or RV gas system. This outlet is designed to be recessed into the wall with a fire-rated abs rough-in box, covered with a brushed finished stainless steel door that protrudes no more than 1/2" out from the finished surface. The gas plug (TM) door can be closed while the appliance remains hooked up.
