These are excellent commercial grade LED bulbs which can replace traditional HID metal halide/high pressure sodium bulbs. Ballast must be bypassed, as these use just normal 120V line voltage. These burn only 10% of the power as traditional HID bulbs, yet they produce the same lumen output. Also as advertised, these feature a sliding switch which allows you to select the wattage and lumen output, a fantastic feature which allows for some customization. Another great feature of these bulbs is the fact that they can be used in many standard base light fixtures with an inexpensive (not included) E39 adapter. Great for garages and other fixtures which allow the extra space for the larger height and width of of these bulbs. Very nice product and looks beautiful installed. My only comment is that, with all valves, you turn them counterclockwise to open and clockwise to close. With this trim plate you turn the valve to the "red" dot first but really, at that point, you only have cold water. To open the valve enough to warm the water, the valve trim indicates you are at the "blue" dot or cold water side which isn't the case. Maybe I am missing something - does any one have insight?
