A beautiful wall clock that combines the fine texture of wood and paper. Thomson Paper has a clock face made of an unique design paper called Mermaid, named after the ripples of the sea, the home of the mermaid. Gentle, pleasant, and with superb choice of color, designer Yuichi Nara creates a three-dimensional numbers on the Thomson Paper's clock face using the iconic Thomson die-cutting machine, used to manufacture puzzles. The edges of the number outlines stamped out are naturally rounded like a tensed water surface and drop soft shadows into the spaces stamped out. Part of the Lemnos Plywood core collection.

I gulped a little bit before dropping $170 on a wall clock, but the blue color was just what we were looking for to pick up the same tone as our kitchen island. I also liked the 3D "carving" of the numerals into the paper clock face. Once arrived and on the wall, it hits all the right things and looks great. We are very happy with it. This item was also perfect! Some damage was present, thankfully not on the person. The stand support is leftover scraps reused-I want to appreciate that, but it doesn’t look great. Assembly was frustrating because it stated there was film to remove on tape. I had to use glue which means it could damage when disassembled. Brave is visible from the front and it falls over easily-takes a bit of fiddling to get it in the correct place to stand Overall, quite a bit of money for something that’s not easy to pop up.. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
