The Reform Credenza is inspired by the Brutalist architecture of modernist temples and churches from Le Corbusier's Ronchamp to Miami's Temple Israel to the Cathedral of Brasìlia. The signature pattern originated as a relief texture sculpted in our Soho pottery studio. The design is carved onto wooden doors and then clad in a single sheet of brass, which is hand-hammered and polished to perfection. The labor-intensive process takes eight to 12 hours per door. The wooden cabinet is made from oak that's been ebonized and limed and perched on solid brass legs. Divine details—a slight bevel on the solid oak casing, a nifty float between the oak and the brass cabinet, and fab touch-latch closing mechanisms take our Reform Credenza to soar heights of couture craftsmanship.

Whether this young aristocrat is thoroughly exhausted from socializing at the ball or simply lovesick for a suitor she's just met is impossible to tell; what we do know from her languid pose, elegant attire and her placement on the plump green settee sofa is that she's a true Victorian beauty. Conjured by an amazingly accomplished Catalan Spanish portrait painter and graphic designer who helped define the Modernism movement, this, his last 19th-century work, further confirmed his genius. The authentic stretched canvas replica captures the original painting's texture, depth of color, and even its brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. It is surrounded by an imported, antique gold-toned, delicately sculpted 4" wide designer resin frame with a leaf motif. Proudly printed and framed in the USA using imported moulding.
