Right out of the box ! we bought 2; kind of a Graphite Black color - they were packed/shipped very well & delivered quickly (Summer 2025)- they went together easily, the swivel recliners met & enhanced the aesthetic theme expectations of the space they are in beautifully! After a month of moderate usage in a sun-light/UV protected space, by 2 people w/no animals i will unfortunately have to change the initial 4.5 star rating to a 2.5 star rating for the following reasons: 1) the chair back & w/recliner extended is designed to comfortably accommodate a person under 5'9" - works for me at 5' but not my husband @ 6'. 2) the recliners foot-leg rest only extends to full-out - there is no partial or 1/2 way for the leg extension. 3) on both chairs, the leather on the head-rest & seat-back & the seat cushions very quickly/prematurely began drooping/sagging, wrinkled & starting to show a crack/split appearance (that is not due to years of age as would be expected) and is only getting worse over time. The price-point for these at the time was reasonable & on paper the 'look' & description of them seemed to be the perfect fit to enhance our Great Rooms furniture suite; unfortunately the quality of these recliners materials & the size/mechanical limitations are disappointing and will not meet the hoped for expectations for comfortability w/a quality handsome appearance or the quality of durability & long wear. - sv. These chairs are perfect! They are slim, the leather looks and feels great, and they are pretty! These stools are very solid and do exactly what they’re supposed to do. The construction feels sturdy and well-balanced, and the adjustable height mechanism works smoothly. Once assembled, they have a nice weight to them and don’t feel flimsy at all. The industrial pipe design is great in theory, but the finish is not accurately represented in the photos. In person, the metal has a splattered white paint effect that looks more accidental than intentional—almost like they were sitting near someone rinsing paint brushes. It gives a messier appearance than expected and takes away from the otherwise clean industrial look. The color also leans more toward a colonial aqua blue tone, which was unexpected. Unfortunately, it clashes quite a bit with darker cabinetry—especially navy blue—so it didn’t work in our space at all. That said, the underlying build quality is good enough that they’re worth keeping. With a refinished or powder-coated surface, these could easily become a really sharp, high-end looking piece. This is a wonderful loveseat and fits in our somewhat narrow family room nicely. We also have the matching couch and love this set.
