So my father was putting on the new faucet (taller one in the picture) and I failed to get a baseplate to cover the holes so well have to come been to this project next week unfortunately. I like the look of it and do think that the one hole and baseplate will help to keep the counter since the sink clean. But its light and that makes me anxious and (my fault not the website) its neck is a lot taller than the previous faucets so Im worried that the height at which the water leaves it might splash more in the sink... once we have it connected Ill follow up. The sleek, modern design looks clean and updated without feeling bulky, and the high-arch spout with 360° swivel gives plenty of clearance for pots and pans. The pull-down sprayer has two modes — a splash-free stream and a stronger pre-rinse spray — and switching between them is quick and smooth. Water pressure comes through strong with no leaks or flexing during use. Installation was genuinely simple. The quick-in system took about 20 minutes with no special tools, and the hot and cold hoses arrived detached, which actually made packaging more compact. Once connected, everything fit securely. Most visible components felt solid and well finished. The internal parts I could see are largely plastic, but performance has been reliable so far. The valve cartridge is rated for long-term use, and the handle operates smoothly without drips. The sprayer head and catch feel a bit more basic than the rest of the faucet, but still perfectly functional. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
