We’re extremely happy with the Touchstone Sideline Elite fireplace. The flame looks very realistic and bright, and being able to adjust the flame speed is a great feature. The flame and base color options are excellent and don’t look cheap at all. It’s definitely worth the extra cost compared to cheaper options—this looks and functions like a very high-end fireplace without having to spend thousands more. It added a beautiful, premium touch to our new media wall. It came with a log, driftwood and crystals. So, you can style it however you like. The only downside was the shipping speed. Delivery through Wayfair took about two weeks, which caused some inconvenience. Other than that, the fireplace itself is amazing. We’re very satisfied with this electric fireplace. It was not difficult to hang on the wall. It kept our bedroom warmer overnight on low setting. It is easy to operate – very clear remote control. We like the fact that it has a lower setting such that we don’t overload our electric panel. While the flame doesn’t appear “real“ per se it is still life-like and attractive to look at. I ordered the 50in linear electric fireplace for my bedroom and I love it. This is the second electric fireplace I have gotten and the other one I got was by a different brand and while I really like it, I like this one even more for its very subtle controls. I had to really zoom in so you can see them. From standing height you cannot see the switch and you cannot see the blacked out controls on the face of the fireplace.
